This bipolar biz is off the chain when you're up and on a roll. It won't last too long, I would like to apologize for the relentless bombing here at kvr.

The only other advice I can give is...put some powder on it! Wink

...and i hope you enjoy.

Nice work, mr.me. It's interesting to hear these tracks in a different context. As Chuck says, "nice mix". What do you use to isolate the vocals?

ahhh...you wants me vocal tricks. Cool

I used a free and old vst called 'TK-FilterDistortion' and set it to high pass...tweak a bit...then verb...and top it off with 'boost' to get the loudness where I need it.

I think TK were made in 03,04..and I think it's still available for DL.

Thanks for the feedback, always appreciated. Smile

Glad you guys enjoyed! Smile

seismic1: Have you had a chance to play with it? I'm looking foward to hearing what you come up with. I still use it after all these years, the only prob i've ever had with it, is making the vocals too thin...or too sharp. I usually fix that with the thresh, gain adjustments and verb levels. Laughing

I played around for about thirty minutes, but still had too many remnants from the original track. I need to spend some serious time with this. Got a new track going up later today, and a drum rehearsal tomorrow Shocked

I think there was some confusion, I thought that you ment getting the vocals to stand out in a mix...not getting the vocals out of a mix.

..original vocal tracks were used here. Cool

sorry bout that.
