I use Sonnox EQs with ProTools to shape and filter my tracks to get the clarity I want from my mixs. I really couldn't work without it.
What is your number one "must-have" plug-in?
And do you have a "dream tool" that doesn't seem to be available yet or you haven't discovered exists already?
Maybe there's some unknown gems out there.

I use my eareckon plugins basically all his stuff works for me for clean effects but I felt like i was missing a invisible sounding comp so I recently bought the one from sinus now I have all that I could want as far as clean transparant and colored besides that I love basically all my sknote plugins the GTS "gates" comp emulation is my favorate comp limiter. and roundtone is on every bus along with my strip bus
the only thing i wish is that I could get a nice perametric eq from sknote and a nice DeEsser from eareckon

I like my UAD plug-ins, wish they were native.

So many I love.... Softubes stuff by far my favorite. Summit audio levelling amp, tsar reverb and the icing on the cake is the valley people dynamite. Waves ssl comp, I use the ssl g channel a lot as well. I have a bunch of others but those are top of the list.. Oh and amplitude 3 love that too.
Imperfection is beauty.
Normally I hate adds, but not at KVR, look at all the the toys I can get.

Not strictly a plugin but Maschine such a great product with glaring frustrating basic missing functions.., not helped by the fanboys over at NI's forum race to the bottom.
Maschine is a drum sampler sequencer / host that has no midi import, very basic sequencing, no loop preview in sync, no rx2 preview or import, no multi timbal plugin support.
And to be honest is looks like none of these functions are coming soon.

I didn't know Softubes, you see it pays to post a question.
Have you tried the new Softubes Summit Audio Grand Channel plug-in yet?
Having used Summit hardware in the past, I'm interested to see what it sounds like.
And the dynamite by valley people is an old fav as well.
Go looking for something new, and you find old friends.

No I haven't tried summit channel, but I have tried their pultec stuff and love it,
Their pultech channel is amazing but really expensive and my money is committed to other things at the moment.

I just recently dug into nebula, which opened a whole new world for me. Incredible stuff!
I hope there's a plugin with nebula's sound quality and prices someday, only with much less cpu usage and latency and better GUI. The first person who can make it will get rich soon
