Interesting background texture; slide evokes the memory of a hot dusty southern summer day.
could be longer.

Beauty! Kinda Stones-y in a way. 8)

Beautiful, Dan.

I could make a song out of this if you fancy a collab?
Superb title gives it all sorts of openings.

Sitting on the porch strumming a guitar. It's too hot to go outside, but too humid to stay indoors. I enjoyed this......briefly :) Nice mixture of different string sound textures.

Nice work, DHM

I hear contemporary wild west ghost town beatnick vibe here. That's cute.

way too short!!

and vocally inspiring, you have something extremely cool here!

Post

the first plucking reminds me of the '4 corners', then the rest of it seems to go straight to the 'mississippi delta'.

cool!

I feel like I'm walking threw a meadow filled with wild flowers. the sun shone on the tree tops glimmer a bright green that is almost blinding. The smell of freshly cut grass fills my nostrils. The sky is blue. And I like you're song! o-@

almost perfect! (just too short) do you know the "tin hat trio"?

Post

Very evocative, tumbleweeds, ghost towns, canyons at dusk. Great title, as well. Thanks!

Post

Thanks to both of you.

astrochimp, I didn't know the Tin Hat Trio, but I've just been listening to some samples and liking them quite a bit. I'll certainly need to hear some more. I think you mentioned them once before and I meant to look into them some time when I was at my sister's (she has a decent internet connection). I think I even did a little, but there's a good chance I was strongarmed into playing Legos* before I could get very far into my investigation. I'm glad the name came up again. Thanks.

The title, I should have mentioned before now, is a line from an episode of Angel (Fred says it). Not inspired by the show or episode, I just thought it made a good title.
