I don't know enough about the diff in products.
For me, when I bought komplete 8 it was a combo of two things (standard version) -getting some stuff I didn't have and wanted (fm8, massive) -getting an upgrade for GR and Kontakt (which in reality wasn't all that important) |

Get Ultimate. I did and don't regret it. The additional products make it worth it. Razor is amazing, as are Alicia's Keys, as others have already said. |

I have K7 so I don't think I'll update yet. But from K6 to K8 for $114, I'd say it's well worth it.

(I get these threads confused. One will say "it's this much for that" and so and.......but that price and what you get it's pretty hard to say no. And we have no idea what if anything will happen with K9 |

My last resurrection of this thread by way of closure. Upgraded to K8 standard taking advantage of the summer sale price with no regrets. Had a problem with a defective install disk and NI sorted me in less than 12 hours. Well done all around.
Thanks for all the input it really did figure into my decision. ---- "Let us wander through a great modern city with our ears more alert than our eyes..." Luigi Russolo, 1913 |
