To me, the RenBass algorithm sounds a little fuller and smoother, but it's really great to have the extra control on MaxxBass. Too bad they just don't merge the two, or give RBass an "expert" mode.

The licenses are in your Waves account, with an app you can then activate these on a pc or USB stick. So it's a sort of C/R with the twist that, if you so prefer, you can use any USB stick as a dongle.

sorry for the late reply.
I demoed both quite a bit, asked a SHITLOAD of questions and ended up with renbass. Nothing wrong with maxx bass though and that price is sick-low. I just didn't really get a wow factor out of it. Could just be me

There are some more options to tweak in MaxxBass so I guess it takes some more learning to use it right.jam92189 wrote:ren bass just has that nice thump added I think. But maxxbass has a nicer cleaner feel each is ownhibidy wrote:sorry for the late reply.

That is what I'm hoping for.

Yes more options like original bass sound and the new bass sound volume also the cut off and the filter steepness and stuff. also you can control the way it responds dynamically I think that reb bass should have this to it would make it just that much betterlfm wrote:There are some more options to tweak in MaxxBass so I guess it takes some more learning to use it right.jam92189 wrote:ren bass just has that nice thump added I think.
