Then halfway through some dumb gibberish that doesn't make sense i realize i'm reading a signature. Can I use this as my new signature? ---- ![]() |

Plug-ins on the data drive, same with Kontakt libraries, samples and stuff.
Better would be to have the samples on the SSD but this is the question about the available capacity. I personally store only actual unfinished projects on the SSD, because the loading/saving is a lot quicker. Released projects and stuff I don't use very often is on the data drive. |

I have W-7 and a 60GB SSD only with program files and VSTs (and I have almost everything from NI and a bunch of VSTs and I have still 15GB left on SSD. One thing that I did not see mentioned here is that you should move all temp files, Documents, My Music, Photos, etc. to another disc, but by default, see a thread in W-7 forum on how to do it. You can not! just move them. Obviously all Banks, libs, samples are on other HDDs... Good idea is to strip down windows processes with http://www.blackviper.com/service-configurations/black-viper s-windows-7-service-pack-1-service-configurations/ I have about 36 processes after tweak (could have even less). No antivirus either, it's a joke |
