I've bought more in the last three months than I have the last three yrs..
Got in on the IK workstation and Amplitube.
I was going to upgrade Komplete, but really the only thing I wanted was Kontakt,
and then thought between my Motif and IK stuff, I'm set for the esoteric sounds..
so I used the money and bought Geist from ttoz.

I also wanted to upgrade Komplete but as you probably know contact with the NI support is almost impossible. They haven't been able to enter my VAT-ID in my account info so I couldn't proceed with the purchase. Mind you, I've been asking them to do that VAT info update since christmas!!!

So, I haven't spent any money yet.

Komplete 8 Crossgrade.

I wanted to get Amplitube 3 or Ampeg SVX, but those just weren't in the cards this year. Maybe during one of the end-of-year sales.

Other than that, nothing really interested me.

I did re-buy Alchemy in the Marketplace, though.

Now I need to come up with the money to re-buy Zebra2.

The damage thus far, (there's a month left til post-season!):

Scarbee Pre-Bass and Retro Machines, with coupon and sale $14 for both! (Thanks for the coupon code, PaulBreeze)
BFD Eco, same story and price!
Sonic Reality's Cinema Sessions Gold $69
IK Sixties Motown Grooves Xpansion Tank $10
BBE Sonic Maximizer $14
Antares Harmony EFX $39
Arturia MiniMoog $0

Not bad for under $150!

Almost pulled the trigger on Kontakt a few days ago, but its perpetual need for a yearly update that controls what 3rd party libs will work gave me pause. Plus TBH, the factory audio demos didn't do ANYTHING for me. Same for Komplete - Blecch!

Plus, the IK SampleMoog, Sonic Synth and SampleTron sales have made me realize how much I already have that I don't use enough! Embarassed

You can't miss what you never had! Laughing Actually, I'm pretty at peace with it.

And appreciated everyone's input. Thanks!

I just worry that once I own it, I'll spend hundreds more on long-desired 3rd party stuff, and that I can't afford!

Anyway, I can wait another year to mull it over, so I'm taking that money and going to the beach to body surf for a few days. Balm for the soul, surf, seafood and suds or more GAS... Now THAT's a no-brainer! Smile

Feeling pretty good, on principle, about Komplete 8 upgrade from Komplete 6.

Feeling crazy good about Strum Electric.

Feeling some buyer's remorse over FAW Circle and Harmor.

Keep livin' keep learnin'.
