Hi Urs, just got a new mac pro for dirt cheap! Running Mountain Lion latest version, 64 bits etc. on a dual Quad 2.66 Mac Pro. Installer works for Zebra 2 just fine, but OSX pops up this window when attemting to open MFM 2: Quote: "MFM21MacInstall.pkg" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash.
Does the same with Filterscape. Fresh downloads off your site etc. |

We're working on code signed installers, but it's a major hassle (they run fine on Mountain Lion but not on Snow Leopard).
Can you sue Pacifist to extract the .component files? Have you lowered the security setting for Gatekeeper? |

We have concepts, but no time frame. We'll have maintenance updates in the not-so distant future, and then I hope to finally fulfill the ProTools/VST3 promise for everything, among a few other scary things that need attention. We won't be adding much to anything until those "lingering dark clouds" are gone. On the positive side, we've got a dozen building blocks for code renovation: We got new filters, we got much better morphing EQ algorithms, we got new envelope followers and all that. So a lot of good stuff for FS2 is already there, apart from the time to slap them onto it. OTOH we want to drop the arpeggiator/sequencer concept (FSVA, Z2) for a much better solution in Zebra3, and it makes a lot of sense to also add that to FilterscapeVA 2 - thus I think we will need to do a clean cut, just like we're doing with Zebra. We'll see... once the sequencer is there and once I can cope with major gui work, I might give it a shot. |
