Im in knee deep and i can't see land anywhere .... no where to go but deeper into the hidden depths of mux ---- Mulab-MUX-Diversion-TX16Wx-SKNOTE-Charlatan-Valhalla-GordonSmith-YamahaTHR10-Trackspacer-TheDrop/Glue-Drumaxx-VOS-DC8C [i5 2500K @ 4,3GHz] [8Gb DDR3] [200Gb+ SSD][M-Audio Delta 24/96 PCI] |

I doubt this is possible but I might as well ask: is it possible to make a MUX that will control parameters in other MUX of the project on other tracks? Basically I am using transposing plugins within MUX on various tracks, and I'd like a way to be able to change the key of all at once with one knob adjustment. Probably not possible with VSTs, but even if there is a non-MUX way to get access to these I'd love to hear it |

For that kind of flexibility, I'd recommend MuLab. |

I haven't tested this yet, but i saw that piz has a midiout. If you use that and midiloopback maybe you can send midi controlling the transpose of other synths ---- Mulab-MUX-Diversion-TX16Wx-SKNOTE-Charlatan-Valhalla-GordonSmith-YamahaTHR10-Trackspacer-TheDrop/Glue-Drumaxx-VOS-DC8C [i5 2500K @ 4,3GHz] [8Gb DDR3] [200Gb+ SSD][M-Audio Delta 24/96 PCI] |

That's an idea. I'm not sure how fun that would be to setup though, but maybe it would work. In Studio One though all the tracks would need to be armed which would be a pain. I can live without this, just if there were some easy way, low-hanging fruit I'd want to know. Mulab seems powerful in that regard, I shoul dtry it there. |

Here's another FR: a simple text note module so you can write out some notes about the MUX for future reference. This would be especially useful if MUX start getting shared a lot more. It would also be useful in hosts missing any sort of project notes system, ie. Studio One again doesn't have this. |

I have never used it, but there is such a function... I cannot find the reference to that, but there was a function, that if you save a html file or text file together with the preset, which has the same filename, you got a context menu entry a la "show preset info" or something like that... Please ask Jo or AndreasD for detailed information, but this should do the trick... Another method could be freeware plugins, which have this functionality like http://www.meldaproduction.com/freevstplugins/mnotepad.php |

I know there is a plugin for this .. from melda production i think, it's free also. But as you say, this would be very useful in mux!
Also, is there an undo function? It's easy to delete a sub mux instead of a cable (it is!). ---- Mulab-MUX-Diversion-TX16Wx-SKNOTE-Charlatan-Valhalla-GordonSmith-YamahaTHR10-Trackspacer-TheDrop/Glue-Drumaxx-VOS-DC8C [i5 2500K @ 4,3GHz] [8Gb DDR3] [200Gb+ SSD][M-Audio Delta 24/96 PCI] |

It would be great if the mixer strip GUI could be displayed as a control on the main layout I think my main FR for MUX right now is more control options to make the front panel more functional, we have knobs but buttons, sliders, all in different sizes would be really helpful and give a more functional end user experience. I'm really hoping MUX takes off big-time and there can be some user-portal where we can share stuff. That would be very cool. |

Yay, Mux is released! I'm getting off the Reason train to nowhere and going for Mux. I have one question, though. I tend to use sampling more than synthesis, and I'm wondering at what point in development do you expect to implement round robin for sampling?
Edit: After reading another thread about pushy feature requests, let me say that this post isn't one of them. I seem to remember reading that round robin would be implemented in the future, and I'm just wondering if it is on the list for the current version. |
