Howdy. So, I have been desiring a 32 - 40 channel analog mixer, but I'm curious about the connectivity and control a mixer has. Is there a mixer or a way to allow a mixer to sync up to a DAW, so I can send out my plug-ins, such as alchemy, and various effect VSTs. My point of interest is to have all of my synth , drum, and sound effect track playing and have the control of fading them in or turning them on during a live set. As well as having rack mounts and other various hardware synths connected to a mixer as well.
From the research I've done, it's possible to set up effect plug-ins to the aux ports via firewire. But, no one has specified if actual tracks can be linked to a the control surface. I apologize if this wasn't clear or understandable. ---- "In order to find yourself, you must first lose yourself" |
