Latest News: MuTools updates MuLab and MUX VST to 5.1.5

I tried replacing a VST in a MUX and got this message. It won't allow me to load this plugin, I have previously. I tried creating a new preset and still no luck. I will try rebooting and see if somehow that resolves it. Last edited by braj on Wed Aug 08, 2012 3:25 pm; edited 1 time in total |

Did you move that VST plugin to another location? |

No I didn't change a thing. I'm not sure how to proceed, this is one of my favorites |

Yeah a reboot didn't resolve it. The browser sees it, I can select it, but still I get the error message. I could try reinstalling String Studio and see if that fixes it, maybe somehow the file is damaged? but it works otherwise. Please let me know what I should try, or if there is any more info you need. Thanks! |

In the VST Plug-in Manager, there were two instances of String studio, one is marked 'disabled'. I deleted this and voilà! it works! I also have the same for iDrum which shows as invalid VST when I try to add it. Anyhow, my problem is resolved, why it did this I don't know but it may be useful to know for support. |

I have a feeling but can't be sure, that the issue has something to do with the fact that there are both 32 and 64 bit versions of the plugin on my system, I may have inadvertently tried to add the 32 bit unbridged version at one point, and that flagged the plugin and disabled it. that is my guess. |
