edit: also, does anyone know where the manual is?

all of my sampletank files are in a separate folder (instruments); not in the installation folder. i couldn't find the crimson flutes either in any of the folders. the ones in the ST browser would give me a message that they were not sampletron instruments and could not be selected.DarkStar wrote:I would not keep the Sounds libraries within the program installation folder - if you can, create a folder somewhere else and move the libraries there. [ Select the new location if the [PREFS] Settings window.]
While in the Preferences window - turn off "Relist on start-up" and drag the number of outputs up to 31+32.
The manual is installed along with the software - look in the program installation folder:

I could not find "Crimson Flutes" at all and these others are instruments do I'm not sure what those folders in the SampleTron Browser are. What files do they contain (as shown in the SampleTron Browser) and in Finder
you're right. it's in the squids tron folder in Sampletank (actually it's called Criminal Flutes). I wonder how sampletron read that. it loaded automatically. very strange.DarkStar wrote:Ok, gald it's working.
The "Crimson Flutes" folder must be on your disk somewhere. Perhaps it's for a different VSTi? And you just selected its parent folder accidentally?

The best advice, but the hardest to do! Every time I sit down to start I usually end up opening a browser somewhere in between!el-bo (formerly ebow) wrote:get off the internet and make some musicmichael2 wrote:now who's got some good tips to share?
