I'm recording an album but need a "stage name". Wondering if you guys can help me out with suggestions. Note that the spelling "LeRoy/Leroy" is more common so better for people searching by name. My band's name has "Trinity" in it, hence the option of the name "LeRoy Trinity".

Please use the voting buttons or suggest a great stage name. Please help a fellow muso out. Smile

Thanks guys,

The leader is Rox. Much less hokey than the other choices, plus there a certain rhythm and alliteration that just sounds right.

Just use LeRoy, everything else sounds terribly gimmicky, and minimalism is becoming popular with these things.

How about just Roy ?

Or LeRoy T
or just LT?

Dude seriously don't let a random selection of weirdos on a forum help you choose your name.. Rolling Eyes

If you make rock music, I'd love "LeRoi Rox" because of the allusion "You rock..." Wink

LOL. 'Danny Le Roy, the pipes, the pipes are calling.' Very Happy

"LeRoy T" sounds pretty good to me. I always liked "LeRoi Rox" but my wife thought it looked a bit gay, LOL - still a strong contender though - but people could get confused with spelling (LeRoy/LeRoi, Rox/Rocks).

Yeah, just "LeRoi" or "LeRoy" could work - not sure it'd work on the album credits though.

And yeah, maybe I'm a bit nuts asking random people in a forum to come up with a name. Good for ideas and general thoughts though. Cool

Oh, note that my music is (at the moment) pop/rock, if that helps.

I've always been partial to band's with names something like "so-and-so and the whoseewhatsits"... let's see...

Leroy Jones and The Tritones?

Leroy Leroy and The Double Takes?

Leroy Steel and The Lunch Hour Smokes?

Leroy Silver and The Touchscreens?

Leroy Munch and The Pop Tarts? (hmmm, possible trademark issue here... Smile)

Leroy Foxx and the Mango Fandango?

I could go on all day...
