Overlap between SB Cyclop & Turnado

I know one is a synth and the other FX unit. Mainly wondering if the FX in Turnado are in Cyclop and if you can use the FX it a similar manner as Turnado. It seems like Turnado allows you to control multi parameters at a time with the dictator. While Cyclop allows you to use sequencers to sequence parameters (I'm guessing including FX). Allowing you to import wavs in Cyclop is another draw over Turnado. Really like the wavescanning. Anyone have experience with both or either? The only product I have of theirs is Wow. Wondering if there is any overlap with Turnado as well.

There is very little overlap. The effects in Cyclop are basically set in stone, you can only adjust the wet/dry mix. It's nowhere near the versatility of Turnado. Which is a good thing, as the many possibilities of Cyclop make my head spin already.

That's was easy. So probably similar effects but hardly editable. I see.

I was debating on whether I should go with Cyclop for use wavs and manipulating with all that Cyclop offers to mangle. I guess these 2 might be ones I need to try out the demos for. Online vids looks good, but I'll have to see if there is some overlap with what I got already (Stutter vs Turnado, Massive vs Cyclop, etc.).

Do you guys think that Cyclop can do some things other synths can't, easier to achieve, etc. I feel like I'm getting close to the point to where I have enough softsynths, there is little left that offers me something different. Though workflow can be a big difference.

cyclop is SICK for what it does...as long as you want it for what it does. awkward, wobbly, disturbed, squiggly, noisy.
am getting in to it (it's definitely DIFFERENT to work with), but love it for BIG basses).
