im thinking about buying this maybe additionally to my wavestation and M1 vsts which rock! so i got 2 questions.
1. are those all samples dry and presets (complete) from the machine? 2. is it recommended to use for this kind of music and sound? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEpGtjXwQtg&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsYdo9le6A8&feature=related |

Hi,
yes you could use some of the sounds for this type of music-there are quite a few drum kits and sounds which have an 80's flavour to them and bass sounds. The sounds can be used for most genres of electronic music because the sounds are quite varied. Samples are dry and the effects come from Kontakt-The sounds are from various machines sampled into an FZ1 sampler and the update contains sounds from various other samplers and 80's synths/drums etc. There are lots of sounds in this instrument and they can all be tweeked and changed. I like Boards of Canada, dance music and 80's pop music from the likes of Human League, Numan, Dolby etc and ambient music-I would say this collection will fit into most styles of music. I just had to chime in and say that this is another winner from Synth Magic.
The basses alone are ESSENTIAL. The drums are well useful, whilst the rest comes with some seriously well applied grit, especially on the pads and strings. Well done, Steve! |
