Hey people!
I'm using FL Studio, and i'm not really using any soundcard at the moment, i just have my monitors plugged in straight to the laptop's audio port (getting an interface ASAP). My worry comes from the fact that whenever i export anything, no matter what format, there seems to be this backround noise at a pretty audible volume (Very low compared to the instruments and drums, but still audible) and i would like to know what's the cause of it. Also, does it matter if i use for example, ASIO drivers instead of the normal drivers when it comes to sound quality? does a soundcard or audio interface really makes a difference to the overall finished product? Thanks in advance and have a great day! |

I would say it helps when recording stuff if your just going mic into laptop. but the noise might be a problem with something else I dont use FL so I cant really tell you. have you tried using a gentle gate? |
