I didn't mean to get so lost. (v2)
3:54 / 9MB mp3 or 6MB ogg
mp3
ogg
A while back I posted the thing that's now the intro to this, and offthewall liked it and wrote a song to go with it. Then I added bits to his song and put it all together.
It's offthewall on acoustic guitar and vocal, and he wrote the proper song. It's me on saz, komuz, and slide guitar (and in the intro XILS3 LE).
Thanks, James, I enjoyed doing this.

Well .... definitely Brit ... but, man, I'm so old that I could be one of the original Pilgrim fathers
Thanks for listening.

the vocals have ... errm ... character ...
they really grow on you w/ repeated listens ...
the track had me thinking ry cooder , by way of john fahey ,
and that's a very good thing , indeed ...

'character' is a good thing. I never claim to be a singer, on a good day I can sometimes get a range of a full octave ... so, I'll take 'character' to be a complimentthe vocals have ... errm ... character ...

I would put this down, mainly, to Dan and his atmospheric pickings.the track had me thinking ry cooder , by way of john fahey
Thanks for listening.

Fantastic down home track and yes the raw and honest vocal works quite nicely here. Had me thinking of The Band...
Very nice guys, bravo!

wow: dream team! this could be from Roger Waters, if he wasn't so self-indulged.

thanks for giving it a listen and for your kind comments
@ mrblitz,
many thanks for the cudos. Always striving for improvement and the negative comments, when appropriate and constructive, always help in that struggle.
