V-Vocal has never done anything but cause crashes for me. I don't understand how it works at all for anyone, but apparently it does. That's the kind of BS about software and computers I hate most of all.

Erhm...I would be a big fat liar if I said that I have never chrashed with Sonar. Hardly any comfort to you but still...Jace-BeOS wrote:V-Vocal has never done anything but cause crashes for me. I don't understand how it works at all for anyone, but apparently it does.

Most of these things don't matter to a large extent. I do like reading/evaluating other opinions, though, and I regard a lot of the heated give'n'take as pure entertainment - chewing the fat, crunching the bone and gnawing the gristle. Not pretty, but funny.
A music software product has to inspire me, make me want to tweak it, sound good to my ears, and not burden me with intrusive/expensive/annoying copy protection.
The other thing that makes a big difference in my purchasing decisions and usage is marketing/personal representation, general behavior towards customers, and update strategies/transparency. I like to support "worthy" developers. Not that it's always easy to tell the good from the bad, but sometimes it's glaringly apparent. Sometimes I'll ignore that if the product is just too good to pass up, though...

No, there's nothing wrong with it at all (I think that comment popped out more snarky than I meant it to) it's a social place, better to come here and talk with intelligent people than argue with illiterate kids on youtubehibidy wrote:And why not? I mean, it's far less harmful than panning on someone because "they" (the majority btw) have a different pov.
