Here's another one for the guitarists out there

The Vitamin C is an emulation of an Orange Squeezer guitar compressor, with added controls for tweaking. It runs in mono or stereo, and has selectable 2x oversampling. Note that this is not a studio compressor, the Vitamin C has the quirks and imperfections of the original Orange Squeezer that gave it its unique character.

Tested in Chainer, VSTHost, Reaper x86, Reaper x64, and Podium. Let me know if you have any issues.

I've been having a lot of fun with this one, it's a weird beast. Firstly, it has this nice swell because the level sags a bit after the attack, then returns to the normal compressed level. Secondly, it has a weird ratio curve; it doesn't have a constant ratio like 4:1 during compression. Instead, it's kind of like a limiter with a very soft knee, but that stops reducing gain once the signal gets hot enough. Thirdly, you can get some grit by messing with the attack and release controls (this is intentional, by the way). All in all, it's definitely not hi-fi, but it has lots of character.

I'll consider a Green Ringer, but you should be able to get a Blue Clipper sound from my Plusdistortion plug-in. It's based on the Distortion +, which was almost a clone of the Blue Clipper.

Well, I've been looking for a good POG-like plugin myself for a while, but all of the ones I've found don't match the speed and quality of the POG or HOG. The problem is that those are digital pedals, with advanced DSP pitch shifting systems, and my personal area of knowledge is in emulating analog circuits. So you might be better off asking one of our local DSP gurus to try to make a better pitch shifter. However, I plan to do something more outside of the box for DC12, so keep an eye out for that!

Awesome, we got Wild Hades (Alu) of Ignite Amps cooking up something for DC12 too. This should be an interesting DC for the guitar players (and everyone else of course) coming up.

Awesome for bass guitar too. Just use this first in the chain, in front of a bass amp sim or after the DI. Brings out just enough note definition/attack with some nice sustain without sounding flubby, which allows you to keep the bass a little lower in the mix but still present and punchy.

Just used it on a new idea for the bass.

Thank you for all your plugs.I love them. I use a very simple setup for guitar consisting of a Les paul special with p 90'ies a Fender Champ 58 impulse and an older version of Ignite amps NNR-1 preamps. Rangebastard sums it up.

Early in the seventies i once tried an AC 30 and a homebuilt gadget (built by a dude that today i a boss at Fender in Scandinavia) that the dude called a "booster". Iv'e never played tone like that since.
After having checked your site i now finally understand what it was that he had and hopefylly i will figure out how to build one.It looks as if its simple enough to build without creating the circuit board which i have no expericence of doing.....or maybe i should learn so i can build som of your other projects.

Lately, I started to really like character compressors like this one. Really nice. Thank you so much Distorque! I also jumped on the occasion to test your other plugins...

Edit: the only plugin that I seem to not like is Plusdistortion. It doesn't sound as smooth as your other plugins for some reason. Maybe it's your first? Anyway, that only means you have made some progress in your coding. I simply

a nice sounding distortion!
