(a) Is there a way to show a Mixer Strip in the Front Panel alongside the parameter knobs?

(b) I've seen reference to "MIDI Clocks" (1/24th of a beat). Are "ticks" available too? Or will they be? And how do the MIDI relate to different time signatures? - 3/4 or 5/8 etc

(c) How do I set a parameter value precisely, e.g a Gain control to -6.00dB

(d) is there a generalised meter module (displayable on the Front Panel), other than the Mixer Strip?

(e) how do I protect a patch?

(f) is there a way to Rename a parameter on the Front Panel. For example, in the Audio Gate, there is a Front Panel knob named "Response". I cannot rename it on the Front Panel , but could Rename it in the Deep Editor.

(g) How do I find our which knob controls which parameter? For example, in the Audio Gate, there is a Front Panel knob named "Threshold". There are 2 so-named in the Deep Editor, so I wished to find out what they both controlled. Even after opening each module in the Deep Editor, I could not find the second Threshold control (it has a value of 29%)

(h) Is there a way to Lock a Custom Layout? - I found out how to unlock one.

Hi some of those are interesting, the last one though, as far as I know a mux locks once closed. Each time I start MuLab and edit a mux previously worked on it's locked again.

For #1 I'd really like to see that.

Sadly not, but UI improvements are a big point for the V5 Mulab/V2 MUX update afaik...
and you can drag n drop the whole module onto the front panel to give you the ability to open the module from the front panel with a single click...
(b) I've seen reference to "MIDI Clocks" (1/24th of a beat). Are "ticks" available too? Or will they be? And how do the MIDI relate to different time signatures? - 3/4 or 5/8 etc
Jo stated some time before (dunno when) working with 1/24 of a beat would be more flexible...
Other units are not available atm...
I have my problems too, if I try to translate this... 8)
But from the pure logic: 24/24th are musical a 1/4 note... would mean that a value of 72/24th would be 3/4...
But I am absolutely not sure here...
(c) How do I set a parameter value precisely, e.g a Gain control to -6.00dB
On knobs and sliders use CTRL + Mousewheel to fineadjust parameters...
(d) is there a generalised meter module (displayable on the Front Panel), other than the Mixer Strip?
On the wishlist for future updates too...
(e) how do I protect a patch?
Not possible afaik...
(f) is there a way to Rename a parameter on the Front Panel. For example, in the Audio Gate, there is a Front Panel knob named "Response". I cannot rename it on the Front Panel , but could Rename it in the Deep Editor.
For renaming you've to enter the deep editor...
the Front panel is still a bit simple but has already much improved compared to the V3 version...
(g) How do I find our which knob controls which parameter? For example, in the Audio Gate, there is a Front Panel knob named "Threshold". There are 2 so-named in the Deep Editor, so I wished to find out what they both controlled. Even after opening each module in the Deep Editor, I could not find the second Threshold control (it has a value of 29%)
rightclick the knob in the deep editor and choose "Edit"...
The Parameter mapping window pops up and show you the current mapping...
as you'll see, there is no mapping for the second threshold...it does nothing... it only has a name and the creator gave it a value, which points to nowhere... 8)
(h) Is there a way to Lock a Custom Layout? - I found out how to unlock one.
Close and reopen the GUI... the custom mapping is locked again...
