Just messed with the latest version of 160db and I like the bigger gui much better also definitely still does some nice snappy/chunky compression plus and I love how it handles room ambiance (real or reverb) on drums. Still have more testing to do on it though...
The console is interesting. Adds warmth an low end but seems to be doing something else that adds some 3D to the signal. Not sure if I would use it on every track but it may work well for adding separation to certain main elements in a mix. It can be very heavy handed so it is definitely a coloring tool. Again more testing to do... Good job!  |

FYI
I was mistaken. The console is not adding low end. Also, once I matched the output signal level to A/B what it is really doing I was able to make pretty subtle and could see it being used on every track if one choose to. |
