Looks close to me. Have no idea if it's exact, but that a nice sounding sim.K-Slash wrote:After doing some research, in fact you're right.Fiselgrulm wrote:Didn't Fender reissue this one as the Bassman 300 under their own brand? If so, then it already is in Amplitube.K-Slash wrote:Sunn 300T

Because it sounds most like my real one, a 300 watt solid state Laney, I play a picked Jazz bass and like a really scooped sound, I find I lean towards solid state so the high end comes across nice and clean.K-Slash wrote:http://www.ikmultimedia.com/forum/viewt ... f=5&t=4313ObiK wrote:Where is the link to the thread on the IK forums? Looks (and must sound) tasty indeed !BDeep wrote:This (alongside the Ampegs) is all I'd need.
Really ? How is that even possibleawesome-force wrote:Did you know that my fav' of all of the existing Amplitube bass amps is...
ta dah! the solid state one that comes with the free version of custom shop..
I'm not fond of it.
The one I love on everything is the Fender TBP-1 Bass Preamp. Followed by the Gallien-Krueger (MB 150 S) and Trace Elliot (Green BA250) amps.
Great to know !Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:There may even be something in OP's post that is on the block already
By the way Peter, I need to ask you something.
It's about one of your song : "Sister Jones".
(Sorry for quoting your whole post... I'm tired:P)

+1! Between the Fender Bassman 300, Ampeg SVT4 and Ampeg B15 (for an old school round sound) I am pretty darn happy.hibidy wrote:Looks close to me. I'm going to have to mess around with the TBP-1, GK and Trace Elliot sims again now that they were brought up.

AudioGuy720 - I know you like a scooped sound, but if you do ever get a hankering for almost ALL bottom end, also give the Acoustic 360 model a try too. In case you just want to shake the place down sometime

After using and browsing A3 forsome time and I own most all of it, I am thinking of just removing many of the amps in it and keeping the ones that actually meet my needs so I do not have to sift thru the stuff that does nothing for me and my style. But to stick to topic, I do like experimenting with guitar heads and bass cabs and have always done so since my buddy and I really liked the Guitar Pod by Line6 better than the Bass Pod.
