One thing I'd like to suggest is to omit the bars that show up when there is no chord detected. Reason being---it flashes up too often in between chords and can be distracting.

BTW, what is the "snake power"?

Good point, I'll make it blank when there is no input.

Snake Power: just a random picture I picked to fill up the empty space in that corner. You can pretend the snake is figuring out the chord for you.

Thanks! Really helps to have a "second opinion" to the chord detector in Cubase. Really handy when working with string arrangements as well, as it supports input from multiple channels.

If you are going to develop this further, might one perhaps request a hold/latch option for the chord display?

Sweet! I think snakes get a bad rap these days but the serpent played heavily in a lot of ancient mythologies, so it's good to see him back in action.

Thanks for implementing my suggestion too!

Your plug-in will be useful to me because I have a version of Mildon Strummer that is great at generating MIDI strum data, but can't do it well for extended chords. If I improvise a sequence that has plenty of jazz/funk/R&B extensions, I can use your plug-in to quickly figure out the basic triads, stick those through the strummer to generate the strum files, then add back in the extra notes by hand to get the full extended chords for sequenced guitar.

That reminds me, if you ever could pull off doing a MIDI strummer that is as good as the AAS ones (the strum engines on those are the benchmark, IMO), but just outputs MIDI and doesn't bother with uniting it with a physical model, I'd definitely buy it.

Small update, version 1.0.1. The last chord played sticks there for a short amount of time and fades out to blankness. Might be better, or not...

Minihost is a great little program that also displays the chords you are fingering through midi. It does not, however, process live audio.

If we mirror it on D then the pentatonix all stay black keys.
