I just thought that I should share it here.
If you need a sample browser for your wave files, the best option I ever saw is Crypton Mutant: https://sonicwire.com/mutant/download The page is in Japanese, but worry not, the software itself has English interface. I think Crypton (or whoever) developed it for their own sample libraries, but it works with any wave samples. It can show you BPM and key from acidized wave files. In addition you can add your own tags, categorize by instrument and genre. And of course it gives you quick search function. Probably the best sample browser I ever saw on PC. Features (Google Translate version): "MUTANT" (free version) features New! 32bitWAV, AIFF support Added drag & drop to MUTANT Enhanced Search (Search / not search or) Recycle Bin function mp3, mpeg4, AAC support ※ Windows version is required that supports DirectShow codecs Numeral in the folder sound Switching waveform (show / Mono Stereo) Read Faster Sound Faster internal query Function Loop (repeat function) Inline text input function from the main list of MUTANT Added support for drag & drop bookmarks MY CONTENTS support registration of the Drag & Drop from Windows Delete folder renaming move in conjunction with a PC file system Added drag & drop to DAW Extended to all items in the search fields at the top right search window Stereo indicator Database updates in a separate folder Corresponding keyboard shortcuts One-click Listen Continuous playback of multiple sound Preview the sound wave Comments recording, record tag Bookmarking function Search function Switching Display English / Japanese SONICWIRE site and seamless connectivity WAV, AIFF support Windows / Mac Support ---- Wonder whether my advice worth a penny? Check my music at Soundcloud and decide for yourself. re:vibe and Loki Fuego @ Soundcloud |

Thanks for the link. Is there another version than 2.01? Audio works fine, but there are white bars and tearing/artifacts next to the trash tab when i resize the Browser window. I'm on Win XP SP3. Tried different video card settings, didn't help. Any idea?

Hi, I use windows 7 64bit and had this sampler installed for a while and since yesterday it suddenly stopped working, it does not load samples.
When I point it to sample folder, folder gets imported but it shows 0 samples in folders? (.wav).... ... what could have happened to it? TIA |

It is a glitch in Alpha 70x. -link-removed- The next update will fix this and several other issues that came along with it. ---- liqube.com Last edited by lqb on Tue Mar 12, 2013 5:25 am; edited 1 time in total |

Either reduce the waveform panel height to its minimum by pulling the lower edge up or get the previous release, Alpha 655 as a temporary workaround: http://resonic.at/temp/previous/resonic-655a.exe The next update will fix this and several other issues that came along with it. You're way off, I don't even have your Resonic alpha installed I was talking about MUTANT sample player. The problem was samples got erased by "accident", nothing to do with Mutant. Cheers |
