Does anyone know if it's still available and is it as good as Mark makes it sound!!what is the reliability of Wavelore (I'm a bit concerned I haven't got an email response it's been 4 days). Thanks

The pedal steel is f**king rad! Mark is a super cool and helpful guy. Hopefully he'll be back in touch. I have never had any trouble dealing with him. the pedal steel is great in it's current incarnation even if there is no further updates or support though.
Don't F**K with Mr. Zero.

I presume the guy probably has a medical condition, as that happened in the past already. So, hold your anger down.

Anger??? I'm not anger, man. Yet...
I don't know if you have some REAL info about him, but if he's really sick, the same person who started 3 new friendship for him on Facebook ( Sep, 21), could give some info to his costumers who bought his products, and receive nothing at all.

i bought in the past from him. very fast response, ofcoz' this doesn't help you. this is really strange and maybe the company drift into serious problems because of that.

I've bought from him in the past to. And it wasn't exactly a smooth purchase. just like now, i've made a pre-order and he delayed the release. But at least i received an email.
I'm not in a campaign to put him on fire, but it's clearly a BAD way to run a business.
It's a irresponsibility of his part not have a plan B to deal with circumstances like that. PRESUMING he's really sick.
Right now, i'm editing and mixing a documentary and i have all my work backup-ed and a friend who has access to the files in case i get sick or worst. But that's just me...
My 2 cents.

I noticed that Wavelore is having a Christmas special... everything 50% off. One of the items offered is Glide II: Slide Electric Guitar. I don't see any mention of "coming soon" only the information on the library. So, does that mean that this is now finished? Or are people who purchase it going to get the beta version with just the single round robin? Just curious whether I've missed anything.

Their website says Glide II is now shipping. I bought it and Ether-Phone on Jan3 as part of the sale and haven't received download codes for either of them, though my payment cleared instantly. Also, on my receipt it calls Glide II a pre-order. I wouldn't have bought it had I known it was a pre-order. What would be the point of that? And I haven't gotten a response from a Jan4 e-mail inquiry about the matter. And no one is answering their phones. So, I'm feeling uneasy and worried about my spent money. Usually when you buy downloadable software these days you get a link immediately. Maybe they do it all manually and received thousands of orders as a result of the sale, but it's unsettling not knowing what's going on. Does anyone have any insight/knowledge about what's happening there?

perry45; unfortunately Mark can be a little erratic with his replies etc but many people stick with it because of the quality of instruments that he delivers. I signed up for the original pre-order in August and ended up waiting until near the end of October to even get a reply (and the product), so it can get a little frustrating. Good luck!

Thanks. That helps. I will go nuts if I don't hear from him until March. He ought to hire an intern to answer e-mails.

You mean to say you actually received the product? Or are you talking about the beta that some of us received. First we were given a beta and then finally an early version with only 1 round robin (I think there were going to be eight).

I'm just wondering because I pre ordered as well... on August 12th.

Fyi, Mark had written that the beta is what he used to create the demos.

Available on iTunes, Amazon, etc.

Sequent - I don't believe it was the final version that Mark sent out on 23/10.
An extract from his email is below (he also sent his apologies for the delay);
Some of you received an update some time ago; That message contained a stop-gap version, based on a refined version of our beta instrument. This e-mail contains a link to the full version, albeit with one round-robin. It does, however, contain the full 6 velocity layers in three timbres, and so is much more expressive and enjoyable to play.
Not having seen the original beta I can't say whether this was the same instrument? I assume the finished version will arrive sometime 2013 .

After nearly a month of not getting a download code nor any responses to my e-mails, phone call and Paypal dispute, I finally filed a Paypal claim against Wavelore. I felt I had to do it before time ran out on the opportunity to do so. Even after filing the dispute and claim I didn't hear from Wavelore. Paypal ruled in my favor, so I will be getting a refund. It's too bad because I would love to use the instruments. It's befuddling because it seems so easy to send a download link. I don't get it. I wish I understood what was going on. Anyway, if you order from them make sure you're in a gambling mood. :?
