I'm searching for a step sequencer like the named ones but with not that much CPU usage as Camelspace (common it is just a step sequencer!) and these little control faders of LFO Tool. Furthermore I miss finished steps which I can set like in Grossbeat in the LFO Tool. So why not Grossbeat? Because it is only Time and Volume.

For what its worth, in LFOTool, you can use shift on the LFO graph to draw flat steps (if that is what you mean).Michael1985 wrote:I'm searching for a step sequencer like the named ones but with not that much CPU usage as Camelspace (common it is just a step sequencer!) and these little control faders of LFO Tool. Regarding the other desire, you can hold shift with the sliders to get a finer control. The sliders don't need to be there except the vague visual representation (and people are used to clicking on knobs or sliders). The number box is really what matters (which also accept shift for fine control).
I'd be happy to hear more of what you desire, if that isn't what you're looking for!

Looking for the same thing, I came across these over at LogicProHelp:
To me, CamelSpace seems most interesting. But considering when it was released (ca.2005?), one has to think that something newer, better, more CPU friendly *must* have come around?
Here is a fairly basic but free 64bit Gater - http://www.spcplugins.com/gater Or you could buy the more advanced Gater Pro - http://www.spcplugins.com/gater-pro
LFO Tool is inexpensive but powerful - http://www.xferrecords.com/products/lfo-tool
Personally, I think Camel Space is where it's at in terms of trance gates, etc. - http://www.camelaudio.com/camelspace.php
BigSeq2 is another cost effective effect that's capable of gating and much more - http://www.audiodamage.com/effects/prod ... ?pid=AD022
Glitch has been released for Mac and it's capable of gating, stutters and everything else that seems so popular right now - http://illformed.com/glitch/
Or you could try VolumeShaper by Cableguys - http://www.cableguys.de/volume-shaper.html
Then there's the inexpensive but easy to use Switch by Sinevibes - http://www.sinevibes.com/switch/ For the price, I would seriously check it out.
All of the above are both 32/64bit. Good luck!!

You're not looking for a step sequencer but a trance gate.

Who, me?
I'm looking for a nice rhythmic multieffect to create motion for any source material, whether audio or plugininstrument. Gated or not

Thats a strange way of looking at it; its still as useful as it ever was.Geddulp wrote:To me, CamelSpace seems most interesting. But considering when it was released (ca.2005?), one has to think that something newer, better, more CPU friendly *must* have come around?
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

You're right!
And the reason it sticks around is probably because it's a good realization of a good concept. Looking at the price, it's not dirt cheap, and hasnt fallen in price since the inception. So probably a good, steady product for Camel Audio to keep selling as it is.
And perhaps just because of this; it's kinda funny that nobody has set out to try and improve it.
Just my $0.02

All the Melda plugins have sequencers as part of the modulation system.
You wont find a modulation system comparable in any other plugins!
Theres the cheap single band range and the more expensive multiband range.
For a multi effect I would highly recommend PSP N2O, also has step sequencers
