Would I like to work with that system and that layout? Hell yes. Although I'd prefer Cubase than Nuendo, but I'd imagine it's probably perfectly compatible with Cubase (same DAW with a different price tag basically).
It'll get slagged because that's what people get fun out of doing on the net, despite the hordes that flock to buy Steinberg products. I actually really like what Yamaha are doing...it's a firm stride in the right direction

Steinberg released Houston in 2001!! They's also released quite a bit of other dedicated hardware over the years. Granted none of it on this level. There is now a HUGE gap between this flagship and the other end of the spectrum:

It's my hope that they will now start to close that gap!

I don't think the Western market is as big as the Asian one in terms of over achieving teenagers that would want to play this thing.
