Please explain, if you can.
I see the pages relating to Music Cafe and the Tracker, and I don't understand. I question where I am to host my MP3 to enable a post into the cafe. You can't upload to KVR as far as I am aware, so how are links or posts recognised and where from? |

I like Maxed Out -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-TyRGNAOMI&feature=channel&l ist=UL I like how it is kind of old school trance and not too much dub.. Proxima - google can help you find a 'file host' - kvr does not take uploads - it tracks the links only.. if you still have a hard time get a soundcloud.com account - you should have one anyway - it won't link into the KVR Tracker system, but it will let you upload and share songs here.. |

I quite like this--I always love discovering new choonz! This track's got a nice momentum to it--the keys are a nice touch to, not too overpowering so they complement nicely--brings EBTG to mind.

I'm a newbie here, but I thought I'd throw in a thought:
First off, this tracker is a great tool. Makes music discovery a pleasure. However, is there ANY way to have it scan and incorporate Soundcloud links? Since so many new artists post their work there, it seems amiss to leave it out. Also, it offers many great features like download count, location of listeners, and other useful stats that you can't get from a direct .mp3 link. I don't know the first thing about how this tracker is programmed, but if it's at all possible to incorporate soundcloud links, that would make it even more amazing! Also in case anyone doesn't know, you can link straight to a download link in soundcloud by adding /download/ to the end of the song url. However, it still doesn't end in .mp3, so it will be missed by the tracker (as far as I understand). Thanks! |

Is it just me, or hasnt the tracker updated in 2 days? Was hoping to see my track there for the first time EDIT: Works again now, but it skipped songs posted in the meantime ---- Raconteur, Troubadour |

Dear All,
Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong here. In this thread: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=379428 I had a direct link to an mp3 file. Isn't this supposed to be picked up by the music tracker automatically? It did not happen so far... Best Regards Roman Empire |

Was the link in the thread topic when you created the post?
I think the tracker only sees the links if they are present when the topic is created. I'm not sure that the https protocol is supported either. |

Don't know if it's possible - maybe using a custom widget? But if the music tracker could integrate with Soundcloud links that would be a huge plus IMO.
Peace, Andy. |

Ok, I created a new topic with the URL in the subject line.. Let's see if that works: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=5323252#532325 2 Best Regards Roman Empire |

The link should appear in the thread body (I referred to it as a topic), at the time when the thread (post) is created. I think it usually takes a little while for the tracker to see new mp3 files. |

It only looks for audio files hosted on http, not https. |

Thanks Ben and seismic1, I've created what I hope is the final thread for this song, having the song in the body and only using http.

Ben [KVR] wrote: I've just created a simple music tracker page that monitors the Music Cafe forum for new music. It generates a list of the latest releases for individual listening, links to the original topic and of course sticks it all in a play-list so you can listen to what's new while you hang out here!
It's very simple and I don't plan to change it too much at the moment but of course any suggestions in this topic may get implemented when time allows. http://www.kvraudio.com/music.php If you bookmark http://www.kvraudio.com/music/kvr_music.pls you'll always have the latest play-list. pretty awesome if i might say so myself! ---- The Movement is moving I promise!=|x|= https://www.facebook.com/JFKTheMovement Check out The video's https://www.youtube.com/user/BoomPowLou2?feature=watch |
