Hey, thanks for the feedback guys! Smile

@ZebraTamer

I'll update the examples after some more work on the patch.
I went for a completely dry sound so any mistakes can be spotted easily, but the finished patch will have some basic effects setup.

Wow. Was that the only change you made?

The shaper module is present in the 1st example, I was talking about the version 2 of clip 2.
Anyway, some small changes were made here and there for the 2nd example but don't really remember them, maybe they made a bigger difference than expected (as sometimes that's exactly what happens even with very tiny amounts of offsets)

Just updated the examples,
been working everyday and I every time I did an update I thought... this can't get any better but every time it did.

Fixed higher notes, changed OSC split, adapted waveforms.

Now it should sound a bit darker and smoother but not duller.
Cleaner, rounder, but more responsive with "oversaturated" hard velocity (bite)
Tines and hammer timbres reworked and featured at lower levels by default (will have the ability to set those via XY)
..any finally, overall tonal balance with fine EQ adjustments (all inside Zebra of course)
added: envelopes all finetuned also, tines release a bit less noticeable and overall a bit more hammer bounce (finetuned velocity-amount also) should behave more like in the physical world now Razz

Beautiful "soft" chords: https://www.box.com/s/r49q2pua1svb5eauuefb
and
What'd I Say: https://www.box.com/s/ya9ev3bsz5mgevc9n5db

Will get on the Wurli asap! Smile

Getting better and better,

Before setting up the performance XY controls, I would like to know some opinions on how does it sound/feel aka beta testers needed! (Zebra 2.5.4+, latest version saved on rev 1331) edit: no more need for beta testers at the moment, thank you very much for applying! Smile

Cheers"

What a hell of work you have here! Shocked

I just love it as it is! Very very very nice!

The attack is like real, it's very playable.
On Roland A90 the velo is Great.
Even the xy pad is just well - helping my old Dx7 to play a little harder:
(Y down )

Huge Congrat! Cool Thumbs Up!

Cheers, Smile

hmm... can't really tell what the original sounds like since there's much distortion going on, but that always felt to me like a Wurli..

...and I thought a little while back, "It's in the bag, once I got the Rhd patch done, I'll change it up a little and it'll turn into a Wurli" ... but it's far from the truth, now I realize building the Wurli will be a different challenge all by it self. Very Happy

3ee,
I didn't anticipate your vocals would sound so much like Ray Charles since you are a brother of a different color Wink

You have to post the complete link instead of the shortened version.

youtube . com / watch?v=YyCIzQAoHNI
instead of
youtu . be / YyCIzQAoHNI

I have no idea why that sometimes happenes, I guess when you use the "Copy video URL" thingy instead of manually copying it.

Cheers
Dennis

Not me in the clip Very Happy just some "random" YT video.

Yeah, I pondered the idea of releasing a 2nd volume with those "alternative" less popular versions someday Smile ... until than, I'll be happy if I'll get the magical Wurli contrast/contour 1st Crying or Very sad (it's harder than I expected but hopefully I'll figure it out Smile )
