Not if you want an MSEG that doesn't retrigger - ie an MSEG equivalent to the global lfo's.Howard wrote:"Single" isn't enough?hakey wrote:Global mode for MSEGs?

Sometimes if I need to get exact copy of some component (from current patch or from another), I simply go to patch folder, open patch(es) in text editor and do some copy-paste.
Edit: of course it is possible only with usual knob values data, not with binary data describing custom shape of LFOs and MSEGs, waveforms of oscillators etc.

I wouldn't mind a way to copy paste modules and the arp...
in the meanwhile, here is something Diva cannot do!

I just bought Zebra - I can't believe how bad preset management is - and also the fact that you can't copy and paste modules
I find a preset that I like but want to use (say) a filter setting from another preset - can't be done!!
I want to copy a batch of modules from one preset and merge into another - can't be done!!!
some people are suggesting using a text editor on the preset files - WHAT? - I'm actually trying to get some music recorded here
Is anybody working on this software??

I don't buy software readily - I think it's a great synth - definitely one of the best
That's why i'm so amazed at how they can miss out such obviously wanted features
let's hope the fix is forthcoming

Wow. Really? Urs and company are one the most responsive teams in the business. There's no call for this comment, rhetorical or not.mickwest1 wrote:Is anybody working on this software??
There's a fully functioning demo.
My motto: Buy software for what it is, not for what you hope it becomes.

yes BK I've had very quick response from them - so that's very reassuring - and answers my question - they definitely are working on it
no offence was intended - but I do find it amazing (with other major software as well) that such obvious functions aren't available
in Zebra's case - copy and paste modules, merge presets, browse favourite/junk presets, delete presets, search presets with keyword/s , drag and drop , load/save arpeggios etc etc
I don't think this is highly technical stuff - and not having these functions eats into my work time

You're not alone thinking that, it's just there are certain devs that *any* criticism of, whether warranted or not, is unwise on KVR.mickwest1 wrote: in Zebra's case - copy and paste modules, merge presets, browse favourite/junk presets, delete presets, search presets with keyword/s , drag and drop , load/save arpeggios etc etc

I'm ok with criticism. Criticism is good, overall. Implying that the plugin is abandoned while complaining about issues that would readily show themselves with the demo, is not.re_mute wrote:You're not alone thinking that, it's just there are certain devs that *any* criticism of, whether warranted or not, is unwise on KVR.

It wasn't that long ago Urs was a 1-man company and did everything. He chose to focus on the quality of the sound given his limited time. Now that u-he has more people I'm sure some of these requests will show up in Z2/Z3.mickwest1 wrote:in Zebra's case - copy and paste modules, merge presets, browse favourite/junk presets, delete presets, search presets with keyword/s , drag and drop , load/save arpeggios etc etc
