Thanks Tony, it is fun for sure. And now with the Dry/Wet level LOCK function, you can experiment and brwose presets to find a good starting point very easily. Also the audio input singla visualisation, in the grid area, helps to position the masks very quickly, in perfect osmosis with the part played. ---- www.lelotusbleu.fr Soundbanks for Vsti 5000+ Instruments for 23 Vstis, 8 Sound Designers, Hours of audio Demos. A quick video/tutorial/track about the new FREEZE/DUB/LOOP Button.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5LBKZHxTX8 All you have to do is engage/disengage it at different moments, and build on the fly some grooves, dub delays, rythm parts, etc etc. On the video it is dry, but it really shines when you put a reverb after the delay for huge effects. Makes it 100x easier to lay down masks Thanks Ezelkow1, Yes the visualisation is super handy, and makes the workflow thoroughly intuitive and fast. In the same league, I think the Dry/Wet lock new function really speeds up the workflow for those who like to experiment by browsing presets : Now regardless if Le Masque is placed on an insert or auxilliary bus, all presets become valid when you browse them, this is a real + imho. Multi selection of masks is also a real plus, as its now very easy to get some complex shuffles and grooves with no effort. If you have a 70% groove, you can now chop all syncopated notes in a few mouse clicks. Very usefull, at least for me. In this Demo you'll see how Master Xavier explores some extreme Le MAsque modulation capabilities, and what an adventurous mind can do to a poor drumloop, turning it almost into a vintage analog synthesizer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwC3srC1Pz8 Note : English is also a bit adventurous in this video. Play it loud !!! Hmmm VERY LOUD ---- www.lelotusbleu.fr Soundbanks for Vsti 5000+ Instruments for 23 Vstis, 8 Sound Designers, Hours of audio Demos. The new Mask Level Toggle Parameter : This one is especially juicy for experimenting live wand get crazy results with moving material (ie material than doesnt repeat strictly identical every X bars )
But its also very handy to make other sophisticated tasks, or positionning the masks accurately, live mangling, total crazyness etc : Total Subtle and precise surgical variations, or supreme delirium : Your choice http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjkURP2VYuo ---- www.lelotusbleu.fr Soundbanks for Vsti 5000+ Instruments for 23 Vstis, 8 Sound Designers, Hours of audio Demos. Thanks a lot Ravasb. This is the best compliment we can have, and encourages us a lot to carry on making meaningfull updates to our musical instruments line. I'm a total delay fan also, thats why I created Le Masque concept : It just makes things I wanted in a delay for eternity, and could not find anywhere. With Le Masque my delay arsenal is now complete. This is the best dub delay I have ever used. The feedback inside the delay loop is great and so easily controllable. Quote from the market place, as these threads dissapear after one month or two. Else, still 4 days to get Le Masque 1.5 with the 25% dicount price ( + points for future purchases on Xils shop ) ---- www.lelotusbleu.fr Soundbanks for Vsti 5000+ Instruments for 23 Vstis, 8 Sound Designers, Hours of audio Demos. I'll see if I got the spare cash to get it before the offer ends, otherwise I'll get it later... |
