My latest creation sounds great in Synthedit, but after exporting it as a VST and testing it out in my DAW (Reaper) on the default settings, it just doesn't sound as good. I would describe the sound as being a bit less "full", despite no other effects being in my chain. I can't seem to figure out why.

Could anyone offer some advice or troubleshooting methods in order to get this to sound right? I'd love to retain the exact same sound that's produced by Synthedit as much as possible.

why didn't you try to record it so we can compare?

is the sampling rate the same in Reaper and SE?
