at 1:08 comes in the bass and the vocals, i wanna know what he does at the end of the last note of each phrase..it's like he raises the cutoff and then pitches it down? Is he doing this to that bass sound or he brings in another synth?

Sounds to me like he plays every fourth note an octave higher while indeed opening the filter. He's also sending the bass to reverb only towards the end of each pitch drop. If there's another synth in there it would be a similar sounding one just to beef up the tone (e.g. sub-bass).

It's just the famous vinyl/tape stop effect, you can find it in effects VSTs like dBlue Glitch or Effectrix

I'm now trying to recreate this bass, i tried 2 square waves one in -1 octave and i added some modulation to the filter cutoff, i'm i doing it right?

I'm using sylenth1, it kinds sounds the same but it's lacking some crisp..

Also there's this 'hit' you can hear everytime i play a different note... here is an example:

Pitch drop at the end of EACH note. Open filter only every FOURTH note.
