Hi everyone.
I hadn't realised that this post had continued on for so long.
I actually had the pleasure of seeing Tycho live recently which was an amazing experience. I actually saw Amon Tobin's ISAM at the same venue and it was safe to say that I enjoyed Tycho more. Of course seeing Tobin at the Sydney Opera house is a totally different thing...
Thanks allcentury. Yeah totally! I was really surprised to see that he could play all the sounds live. I was blown away by that. He only had one synth and I guess it was one of the viruses that you mentioned. That makes me wonder whether he made any of the sounds that I like with analog synths. I've never used a virus so I'm not sure.
Thanks so much for posting Mollusk, but unfortunately, the link isn't working anymore. Is there any chance that you could repost it somewhere? I'd really like to hear what you did.

Well looks like I am 8....more like 10 years late to this party, but was hoping to get that link from TheMollusk.....I first heard Tycho back in 2007, one of my favorite tracks from that Past Is Prologue album is PBS/KAE . I recently found out that Scott used a Novation KS4 to create the Lead for this track, if anyone knows how I might be able to recreate this sound ITB it would be very much appreciated Tycho - PBS/KAE

If you own a Korg micro Korg or the Vst , you can find a bank from polydata that makes a soundbank filled with sounds like this.
He also makes one for the Deepmind 12 , look up ‘79 Deepmind 12 bank as well as the Hydrasynth
