Here is a rather simple, temposynced UberMod delay (8Tab) sending one of my Diversion bell patches into it: http://soundcloud.com/sampleconstruct/diversion-meets-ubermo d The preset: <ValhallaUberMod pluginVersion="1.0.1" presetName="Nice Dotlay" Mix="1" Depth="0.451000005" StereoWidth="0.535000026" Delay="0.524399996" Feedback="0.620999992" Spread="0" Slope="0.5" Skew="0.219999999" Random="0" TapGain="0.591666639" Diffusion="0.0759999976" DiffSize="0.0204081628" DiffModRate="0.0490490496" DiffModDepth="0.5" LowCut="0.0603015088" HighCut="0.712060273" SpatialXover="0" DetuneRate="0" DetuneDepth="0" VibratoRate="0.0160400998" VibratoDepth="0.0240000002" OverMod="0.0323232338" DriveInGain="0.333333343" DriveOutGain="0.75" DriveNoiseGain="0" FeedbackRotate="0.467999995" SmoothingTime="0.0157157164" ColorMode="0" DelaySync="0.529411793" type="0.25" DiffEnable="0" Drive="1" DrivePrePost="0" Speed="0" InputPan="0.125"/> sounds great....would love to hear it in bypass to see just what ubermod is adding Ahh, ok - I updated the demo, the first 4 bars are now dry. sounds like a simple but sensitive approach |

Basically turning down the depth-knobs on the MOD-page will give you plain simple delays without any pitch modulation, either temposynced or ms based. For ping-pong-delays choose either Left/Right Input on the WARP-page. will do...thanks again |

Wow. I mean, just, wow. I just bought VVV, stuck it on a track with my new favorite piano library, and didn't get off the default preset for about 45 minutes. Sean - this is awesome! I haven't had this much fun just sitting and playing in a long time. Thanks!

PG I have to laugh because I relate. You don't need to every get off the default Don Gunn, local engineer/studio owner/talented guy, dialed in the default preset. My original default was much tamer, but we were creating presets at his studio, and came to the conclusion that the plugin should open up to a sound that is useful and also Blade Runner-ish. I played the Moog Rogue through the preset and he set the parameters until it sounded really good. The default presets in ubermod and vroom are awesometoo.
In uber mod, all i have to do is change the wet dry mix and maybe rate and depth. |

I just sent the 1.0.1 installer out to a bunch of existing beta testers, so they can "smoke test" the think before I send it to everyone. If you are a VintageVerb user and you want to give this a spin, send me an email.
Next step: I need to refresh my memory on how to set up the templates for the Mail Chimp mass email. Once this is done, and I hear from some users that the installer works well, I'll send out the 1.0.1 update to all VintageVerb users, update the web site, put up the new demos, all that stuff. Hey Sean,
I just ran the installer for VVV 1.0.1 and everythings worked fine. No problem here with Reaper 4, Ableton Live 8 (Win7, x64). Thanks for the hard work ! ---- Better one day as a lion than a hundred days as a sheep. |

ValhallaVintageVerb has been updated to Version 1.0.1. The changes:
* New reverb mode: Sanctuary. - Sanctuary is loosely based on the "constant density" reverb algorithms of the 1970s, such as the EMT250 and 224 Constant Density Plate. - The echo density of Sanctuary increases with time, for a more natural decay. - The algorithm incorporates discrete early reflections, with the early reflection level adjusted by the Attack control. - Extensive detuning modulation is used within the algorithm, for a wide stereo spread and a lush decay that is largely free of random pitch shifts. * Improved stability. * Internal overload protection, to prevent volume spikes when changing presets under certain circumstances. ValhallaVintageVerb is available to demo and purchase at http://www.valhalladsp.com/valhallavintageverb Thanks for checking this out, and thanks to all the beta testers for your help! 10 minutes with it and I can hear it adds a whole new palette of reverb colours. Shite, didn't want that to sound as pretentious as it did. What the hell. Thanks Sean. ---- 'He craved immortality so much, he was prepared to die for it.' |
