layzer: I can see why this bassline infected your brain. In fact, the whole track is very catchy. It's still echoing in my mind minutes after playing it. I need to be careful. If I play this too much, my immune system may not be able to resist it.

The Seismic master is very smooth and tasteful. Less HF sizzle and more emphasis on the groove. A/B'ing them, I do slightly prefer Seismic's master. Excellent work guys!

I sent a master to layzer too, but I think sesmic's version is better. I keep practicing.

Some moderately interesting facts for you.

Original mp3 had a DR of 7
layzer uploaded a wav without the limiter - DR 12
My remaster - DR 9

Whilst mastering this I used the T-Racks Master#1 preset as a template and then spent about 30 minutes playing with the settings of the various modules. Any way I sliced it, I kept coming back to the 57ms attack parameter on the Opto-compressor. That was the "sweet spot" for this track's rhythmic base.

yes yes! Seismic did a great job emphasizing the strenghts of the track!
manducator has sent me his go at it, it packs quite a punch!

Yes, the floppy measuring devices attached to the sides of my head do roughly confirm these statistics.

You are developing a knack for this. You could probably even turn this into a profitable sideline as long as you don't tell customers that you are using mastering preset #1.

i just dowloaded and installed the TT DR meter. this is great reference software and i highly recommend its use. i been feeding it many of my tracks and
find i had been squeezing the F*** out of them. good piece of code.

This sounds like a hybrid old-school/new-school to me

Really enjoyed this, although I enjoy the ocasional trance track, and am definitely a fan of the 80's sounds.
Man, these arpeggios really bob my head as well

Will have to check on the monitors, but on the headphones all masters sound good.
