Note that the latest versions of Reason do include 64-bit Rewire.
I bought the Orange 3 refill from Reasonbanks today, and on the page it is stated:

"The multisample library (included) can be used with other samplers like Kontakt or EXS24." (http://www.reasonbanks.com/refill_Orange3_spec.html)

But how am I gonna be able to do that if I can't legally unpack the Refill ?

Just a bit of catch 22.

But, I'll be quiet happy to use the refill inside Reason, but find it hard to resist the possibility to tinker where I could possibly tinker

Maybe I can fire up the refill in Reason, and then Rewire Reason into another DAW which holds Kontakt, and get access to the multisamples that way?

You'll have to ask whoever makes that Refill, I don't know. Maybe they include other formats, or distribute samples in a "universal" form that you can convert into whichever proprietary format(s) you need. Squids sells some samples that way.
