Just to quench my curiosity (for no other reason really), you seem to ask a lot of random questions about just about every DAW. Are you collecting data on all the workstations or something?

Just asking, no ill intent. Thanks.

I am developing the ultimate DAW.

all kidding aside. I am really just interested in peoples work flow.. can never learn enough. a lot of times.. I will discover something in one daw and wonder if its possible in another daw that I may like more.

a lot of times I will ask a million questions and then disappear for a couple months and experiment with all the ideas.

Have ypu tried Reason at all? If so, you'd know why trying to do a full album in one project would be a crippling way to work.

I thought we weren't allowed to say the R word here. ;)

Studio One is also good for this. Well you can do it in pretty much any DAW but I find the project page of S1 is excellent for getting an overview of the whole album.
