Yup, I can hear it... Clemens may be able to have a look, but I'm in a hotel far from home now...

The multicore is a funny one on my system, GA X58AUD3R with core parking turned off.
Without multicore turned off, as expected one core is quite high, but with more instances Reaper seems to spread the load more evenly. With multicore turned on, one or multiple instances are spread much more evenly, but in the task manager performance thing, the red kernal line goes from being almost imperceptible in most cores to being quite alarmingly high relatively in all cores , but still well below the green.
Off to work, but I might try fiddling with maybe getting a slower attack on the offending patches, see if that makes a difference.
Hope you are enjoying yourself there Urs. I haven't stayed in so many hotels that I don't find the experience thoroughly enjoyable.

I just downloaded the new update versions for Zebra and ZebraHZ. It seemed to be working well, but it crashes often.
I'm using Cubase 6, 64-bit on a mac (10.6.8 ).
I don't really know what causes it, at first I assumed I loaded to many tracks, but it still crashes when I use 3 Zebra tracks and 2 zebra HZ. I'm on an Imac i3 with 8 GB ram though, using the onboard sound card
Could be problematic.
The other thing is:
I didn't delete the old files, so when I follow the Project - Add Track - Instrument and then select u-he, Zebra, ZebraHZ and Zebralette are there twice, as in:
Zebra2
Zebra2
ZebraHZ
ZebraHZ
Zebralette
Zebralette
Any ideas?
I could try to uninstall everything of course, see if that helps.

please try to download ZebraHZ again and see if the problems are gone. I just put a new version in place that contains the fix for a Diva-problem. Since ZebraHZ includes the Diva filters, this might solve it
Before that though, go to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST and delete all Zebra-vsts that are not inside the "u-he" folder
Ah yes - the "///" is VST3, thats an even better explaination
Cheers!

hi, no rush but was seeing if the Diva update is ready too or just a HZ update.
The Diva update of course meaning favourites can be done again, and I forget what else (reveal in finder on mac). Since I think you had done the save patch fix already..

Hi, yes I also made the diva link public on our website but the favorites aren't fixed...zvenx wrote:hi, no rush but was seeing if the Diva update is ready too or just a HZ update.

In fact the favorites worked on our windows7! Maybe the file permissions arent quite right?
Does anybody else have that favorites problem?
The preset-save problem is fixed
Cheers!

strange, I have the favourite problems on both mac and pc......very odd. and I did do a permissions fix on mac or whatever it is called.
I assumed you set the favourites... removed the instance.... created a new instance and the saved favourites were still there?
very odd indeed.......
btw these were on a bank I purchased and placed in the Third Party Folder....did you try it on any patch in your third party folder?
Me testing it on my factory bank may not help that much, because for Diva and Zebra I have a Factory folder that I put all the factory sounds in.
Also I added it after or whilst you were posting above, was the reveal in finder fixed (although personally I rarely use that one)?

Also.... yes I am that anal retentive
.... when you unzip the new ZebraHZ,
the folder says ZebraHZ_Win although it has both mac and pc installer. It used to be The Dark Zebra

Thank you zvenx and cheppner
One set does indeed have /// before them. I will do what you suggested and let you know how it goes.
Thanks!
Edit:
My Library/Audio/VST folder is empty. Nothing. Is that good or bad?

That won't solve your 'problem'..
you have to delete either the vst2 or vst3 versions......you can decide....if Cubase is your only host you can get rid of the vst2 versions if you want. they are in the folder /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/U-he
if you choose to get rid of the VST3 versions (the ///), they are in
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 folder
