Maybe it could be somehow fixed for the few who said here (why would they lie?) that they sent an email, but didn't receive anything back.
Of course only for those who said that before the deadline of midnight 26/27.

WOK you only need their email address, so maybe doing it via PM here would be OK ?

OK a strange thing happened few days ago.

SamX stopped working properly, controls dont work as they should, it outputs strange noises on diffferent presets, OSC pitch not responsive to MIDI note number...

So i have a question:
Was it programmed to stop working after a set number of months ?

All my other synths work properly.

Also what is the name of the zip/install file ?
I would like to reinstall it but i can't find it anywhere on my HDD lol

One full octave 1st SamX on XMAS BELLS preset, then SamX on Strings preset, then for comparison Synth1 playing it properly.

Same behavior in latest REAPER, VSThost, Chainer.

What can it be ?

Maybe i'll try uninstalling some synths and effects i installed recently, maybe there is some conflict...

OK i'll leave it here for 1 day to see if someone has a solution, then i'll PM the dev. I don't want to bother him and take his precious time if it is something we can solve here.

Just noticed one thing.
I have installed the BE version, which practically is the same thing.

When i was installing the MIDI files my antivirus (Avast free) warned me up, there was a file which was considered malware.
I don't think this is a virus, but you know how antivirus behave when have been updated.
The exact file was DD_MANYMONO2ONEPOLY.SEM

This could be the main reason, the midi file was blocked, so then the whole synth is not working properly.
Take a look if you have this file.

I have sent the file as false positive to Avast server.
To get rid of this, i had to extract the file manualy into the folder where SAM midi and files are.
Checking now...

EDITED: Shit, everytime i'm loading the synth in FL Studio i got the warning again so the file is deleted.

Let's see how to fix this. Waiting for the next update of Avast.
Funny enough that if you scan the file in the vault, it says clearly that is not a virus.

Yes i use Avast too, and just checked its history and it says that the file is infected.

I'll look if i can somehow whitelist that file.

Whitelisted it, the synth still doesn't work.

But it may be the real cause of this problem.

Avast also suspects DD_CHANGEWATCHER.SEM file from the new version of Trans Computer Mashine which i installed recently.

Problem temporarily solved

Turned off scanning dll files in Avast and now the synth works again !

And sounds beautiful.

I am very happy now and thank you very much again to WOK and to IrionDaRonin.

Instead of doing that, it's better to create an exception for that file only in Avast.

I got both SAMseBeat and SAMX

No problems in FL Studio. Using MS SE, not Avast.

These two plugs are more or less identical, only thing is that SAMseBeat has an annoying nag screen to start with, and that the preset Bass is changed to XMAS Bells in the SAMX version.

Avast, only the sem subfolder in SamX folder.
