Introducing SoundBytes Magazine, a new free on-line magazine dedicated to the subjects of computer sound and music:

The magazine is created by volunteer writers from around the world. Although we feel ready to lift the curtain on SoundBytes, there's a few things yet to be completed, such as a Facebook page for reader interaction. There are also a few rough spots. The print/pdf functions don't work in IE, for example, and there's probably a few more rough edges that we'll be dealing with in the coming months.

We hope you'll find the magazine content informative and entertaining. Enjoy!

Looks cool

A few points:
- It says "Review: Nexsus 2" on the front page. It should be "Nexus"
- the <title> tag is missing, it's only in the inner iframe, so it's not read by the browser
- why are you using <frameset>? Just wondering
- the "read more" buttons are gray. Personally I wouldn't choose gray for buttons because it makes them look "grayed out", as if you can't click on them.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, you are right, will fix that Nexus typo also will change those grey buttons to read one.

Hm.. regarding those html things... will try to figure how to fix that. The whole site is made with Artisteer and manually tweaked in WP. Still learning...

I just read two reviews and wasn't impressed by the content.

The reviews were:

> Long on "talking around music and people" and short on actual testing.

> what tests there were were very "impression-orientated", and could almost have been written about any synth or effect.

> very lateral keyword-stuffed, which makes me think someone's playing an SEO game for Google rankings.

No plans, but then we just got this thing off the ground. I have a feeling that a lot of the free content one gets with one of the commercial magazines (Computer Music, I think) may be tied to advertising deals. We don't do advertising and will not have those kinds of ties. But who knows what the future holds?
