This sound comes in at 0:55 i think it is a reverse pad but dunno how to achieve that metallic sound, any ideas? thanks.

Seemed to sound like a greatly slowed down vocal (which gives a rough / metalic sound) of a chick, with a pad behind it - reverb - and glued together with a big of compression?

thanks for the help! well i think it can be appreciated better at 1:10, the first one at 0:55 had the vocal but i'm going to give it a try.

It sounds like a pad that has been source filtered together with some kind of natural effects via vocoding or additive and/or synthesis.. You can do a lot of stuff like this with Absynth or Camel Audio's Alchemy... On top of it, is ... side chaining =/
