Seems to have a very low cpu usage. I like the dark GUI and the waveform display is great too.Jakob / Cableguys wrote:Aaaaaaaaaand, any feedback on WaveShaper CM yet?
Thank you for your hard work.

If you have the voucher code from Zinio (Lumia), the new issue is available:
http://zinio-offers.com/lumia/
I have not, however, received notice yet that it is available for download.

Yeah, I like it. But I've noticed one thing: if you take bottom left point and drag it up, you will get a DC offset (or whatever it is) when nothing plays through.Jakob / Cableguys wrote:Aaaaaaaaaand, any feedback on WaveShaper CM yet?
Not sure whether it could be called a bug, but I think it is a kind of unwanted behaviour.

Yes, it's maybe a bit unexpected behavior.. what you do by this is say: Set an input value of 0 to the new value that you define on the y-axis. To avoid it, set the point to the bottom-left corner and then you can still place a point right next to it on coordinate 0.00001/whatever, but this avoids the DC offset.Loki Fuego wrote:Yeah, I like it. You can rate them by clicking on the gray stars or on the text saying "Not enough ratings yet" within the Preset Browser.cyphersuit wrote:Bought cm, downloaded the plug! How can i rate presets?

ordered the mag-checked the vault-downloadet the stuff-played with it and i like it...it is a really usefull tool.
i would like to see some more extra features
. like asymmetric shapes and a dc blocker. i compared your Waveshaper CM with the free MWaveshaper which is also a great distortion tool.
greetings...

I haven't had the time to play with it yet, but looking at the demo from the mag i can tell I'm going to have fun with this.
I'm also really enjoying the darker GUI you guys have been using lately. Much less harsh then the white and lots of nice contrast.

A high-pass filter (with the frequency set as low as possible) after WaveShaper will also get rid of the DC offset. Maybe WaveShaper could have an option to fix the DC offset itself.Jakob / Cableguys wrote:Yes, it's maybe a bit unexpected behavior.. what you do by this is say: Set an input value of 0 to the new value that you define on the y-axis. Yes, we'll think about that for an update. Or maybe a pro version one day. Let's see..paterpeter wrote:A high-pass filter (with the frequency set as low as possible) after WaveShaper will also get rid of the DC offset. Maybe WaveShaper could have an option to fix the DC offset itself.

Glad you like it! We wanted to keep it straight-forward and simple for now. But these are definitely features that we can consider for later!Impulslogik wrote:ordered the mag-checked the vault-downloadet the stuff-played with it and i like it...it is a really usefull tool.
