From the title I expected something a bit cheesy, but I was pleasantly surprised - this song has a very nice summery, slightly psychedelic vibe.
I think the 'tron-like string sound with its slow attack and sharp release feels a little odd, especially in the intro but also just before the end where it is quite prominent in the mix. It's a nice sound in its own right, but I feel it needs a little bit of moulding to fit better into the song.
But I really like the song - I'm on my 3rd listen now

Reminds me of The Beatles.

I'm also hearing a strong Beatles influence. The music is like late period Beatles ("I am the Walrus") with early period lyrics ("Love Me Do"). Not exactly my thing but I'm sure some people will enjoy it.
The cymbal crash is very lo-fi. I would suggest replacing it.

Nice track.
The streaming audio is pretty low resolution, so I don't feel I can offer anything on the mix itself. I can say that I like your voice.

Most importantly, how was this song received by the most important listener? The girl you wrote it about???
As far as my own opinion on the mix, I would prefer the synth wasn't so prominent in the mix.

LOL! It was never written about anyone special. My girlfriend knows that. I just had this line going around my head "you are..." I had to force myself to write lyrics. Any lyrics to get the damn thing out of my head. The words are deliberately over the top. A woman should suspect a man who says this stuff!

Thank you. I came back and did a remix. Wasn't happy with the previous effort. Any thoughts welcome.
