Hey!
I'm using DP Meter Pro at the moment. As DAW I use either Logic or Mainstage.
Now I've got a few external LED Meter, which I wanna use. As everybody knows, DP Meter Pro is able to send the values as MIDI CC. But I can't find any setting, which allows me to setup the midi device the data will be send to.
In Logic I may can handle that via the environment. But Mainstage doesn't have an environment... how to handle that?
Thanks,
Chris

Hi,
The plug-in is able to output MIDI or automation events to the host application, not to external devices directly. So that's the kind of setup that needs to be done inside the host.
I remember hearing that Mainstage does not have MIDI output capabilities (but I might be wrong), so it might be difficult to output anything, except maybe using another software plug-in with a virtual MIDI port?
Have you checked on the Apple forums if anyone has a solution to output MIDI data from MainStage?

Hi,
thanks for the answer.
Mainstage is able to output mididata. It's possible to create channel strips for "external instruments". But I don't know if that helps.
Using another plugin I already tried. I wanted to use Plogue Bidule, but Mainstage and also Kontakt are crashing as soon as I'm using that plugin.
