Hi together,

can you provide me with some informations about the mixer mentioned above?
i'll get one in a few days, bút I don't know if it works or if it's good.
I now Teisco being a manufacturer for analog synths and stuff.

What's interesting on this piece that it seems to have an analog echo inside.
As far as I could see there is an "echo return" jack on the back.
Does it mean you can feed something into the echo without using a mixer channel? :D

Soory, but I loooooove analog echos :hihi:

Hi,
Sadly, I don't think it has a built in echo. Like many Japanese mixers of that era and before, there are FX send and returns labeled "echo". It is designed to be used with an external echo unit. The word echo being read as reverb, which is the common term used here in Japan, for example, it's always seen on karaoke equipment.

That said, I don't own one of these mixers but it appears to have the standard set of features for its time. You can see a spec sheet here: http://brochures.yokochou.com/keyboard- ... 09-10.html

As I said I don't own one of these but I'm a bit of a Teisco fan (more for their guitars) and I own some similar mixers and effects stuff from that era. If it's in good condition, it will do the job and is easily maintainable but it won't impart any 'sonic magic' on your music. I like it because you can get it cheap and is a good way to learn how to fix and service things.

Hope that helps :)

Thanks for this :)

I do not expect any "magic" doing in to my music.
I know some old mixers having an echo unit in it, some with BBD,
others with a tape delay. And I hoped it to be one them
