Ah, I don't know about how the Synthmob site works from that point of view. The guy who runs it is in the States, so may be asleep. I'll email him.
Cheers.

Hey idfpower. With Tyrell N6, you should just need to locate where the existing presets are and put the folder in there. It's a folder called "TyrellN6.Data" or something like that.
TAL Elek7ro is more complicated. You can't see 3rd party sounds in the synth GUI (as far as I'm aware). In Cubase, I have to click on the little folder icon and select "load" to use them. Not ideal and one of the reasons I don't use it very often.

As i want you to be in the contest, for TAL-Elek7ro 2, get all zipped presets and put into any folder (if these are into the TAL Elek7ro 2 folder as i did, the better)idfpower wrote:I've tried everything, but it doesn't work. Must be some compatibility issue with how my DAW (FL9) is handling synths & presets or smth...anyway, thanks for the help
So i did this for you.

1. Search for the little gear icon in the plugin wrapper.
2. Go to options rear panel.
3. Select "presets" tab and press Load FXP or FXB.
4. Open any preset.
You have to do this everytime you want to change any preset.
Note that i'm in FL Studio 11, so your version is slighty different, but the steps are the same.
With Tyrell can be done directly from the synth itself.
Good luck

IrionDaRonin, thanks for the help
That's exactly what I did (and normally do) - thing is in one case the presets were simply not visible - although they were actually in that folder, and in the other case the synth seemed to upload them, but there was no sound of the actual preset, just the synth's default sound - over and over again. As for Massive, it kept telling me the presets had a wrong format...weird - considering that I can import/upload other presets/3rd party banks with zero issues. The only ones that worked just fine were the FM8 ones (I don't have Absynth nor Omnisphere so I haven't tested those). I really don't know what a heck is going on...

With Massive, it might be because you haven't updated recently? They are .nmsv files, so won't work if your version is one that's using .ksd files only.
If it's not that, I dunno!
And thanks to Irion for trying to help.

Yeah, that is probably the cause. But I don't understand why the Tyrell and TAL present don't work...anywaysynaesthesia wrote:With Massive, it might be because you haven't updated recently? They are .nmsv files, so won't work if your version is one that's using .ksd files only.
