A little background...this is using Amplitube 3, which I'm selling as part of Total Studio 3. I could get AT Metal, but if I can get it out of Reaktor (clean and distortion), I'll just do that.
Can I Get This Tone Out of Reaktor?

Amplitube is an amp sim plus a cab sim. Use the tube preamp module in Reaktor and the convo verb ensemble to load a cab IR. There are some excellent free ones here:

One thing Reaktor won't give you is zero latency. If you need that, try these:

They are free, and, in my opinion, at least as good as Amplitube. Again, you have to use an amp sim and a cab loader.
