Can anyone tell me how to make a Reaktor ensemble show up in the "Browser" tab (i.e. the window on the left when Reaktor is opened)?
I installed NI Mikro Prism (free) a while ago. I deleted it shortly after because I thought it was causing my Logic to crash, which proved to be wrong. I went to re-install it and now I am getting an "installation error".
Since it's just an ensemble, I went ahead and manually installed this. It seems pretty straightforward:
1. Copy .xml file into Service Center folder
2. Copy remaining files (i.e. manual, .ens file, etc.) into Shared\Mikro Prism folder
However, when I open Reaktor, the library does not show up. I am able to manually open it by either using the file menu or browsing in the "Disk" tab. However this is a bit time consuming.
Am I missing something here? I've checked everywhere and don't know how to make this ensemble (which works perfectly btw) show up in the "Browser" tab with the rest of my ensembles.

SOLVED: I ended up downloading the Location Tool from the NI website.

EDIT: Spoke too soon. That trick only works for standalone Reaktor. In Logic, Mikro Prism still does not show up in the Browser.
Any suggestions?

If it's not in .ens format, save it as .ens. Then move that file into your use ensambles folder and make sure that is set as your use ensmbles folder in preferences. It'll show up there for sure. Or even if you move it into your factory ensembles folder (rather than a separate product folder as some of them come). Having it in user or factory folders means you don't need the xml file for it to find the particular product folder.

In the Reaktor browser, you can specify some folders as "Favorites" to make navigating to them much faster.
Click on the "User" tab in the browser. There's a down arrow next to the word "User" and you can navigate to a folder and mark it as a favorite. Then, in the future, it will appear in that drop down list and you can navigate right to it.
I'm not sure if that's helpful for your situation, but I've found marking favorite folders as a time saver for me.
