FL Studio-like Step/Drum Sequencer for Logic?

I've switched over to Logic from FL Studio (after years). One of the things I've suffered the most from are my drum patterns. I've been using Batter 3, and for some reason, good drum patterns went from the easiest to make to the hardest to make. On top of that, they don't sound nearly as good anymore, and making a track becomes less inspiring with crappy drums/drum patterns.
Does anyone know if there is a VST similar to FL Studio's step/drum sequencer?
Is there a makeshift way to achieve this using Battery or Maschine? or a combination of both?
Thanks in advance.

For options that come with Logic? There is Ultrabeat, or this:

Seriously. I'm surprised it's never been done.highkoo wrote:Has ImageLine ever said anything about making a VSTi out of the step sequencer?
Port it, skin it, collect your million bucks.
Any other thoughts regarding the initial post? Would Maschine work for this?

Alright. Yep, would indeed be very nice to have that as VST/AU.TheoM wrote:Not in logic..for one there is no native mac fl and 2 logic only uses au anyway not vst.
On windows the whole fl studio can be used as a vst but I think what is meant above is why not release just a simple midi output vst of just the step sequencer, which is indeed a nice one I must admit.
